  1. Worksheet

Tick Tock Matching Game worksheet: six analog clocks down the left, six down the right, and twelve digital times in a shaded middle column to join with lines

  2. How to use it

    • Do the first time together. Ask which clocks it could be, then which one it is and why.
    • Students work through the rest, crossing off each clock as they use it. Every clock is used exactly once, so the last few can be found by elimination.
    • Check by reading each clock aloud as a class.
  3. Extension 1

Tick Tock Matching Game Extension 1: a fresh set of twelve clocks and twelve digital times

A fresh set of twelve times for fast finishers. Same four types: o'clock, quarter past, half past and quarter to.

  4. Extension 2

Tick Tock Matching Game Extension 2: a third set of twelve clocks and twelve digital times

A third set. Includes 12:45 and 1:45, where the hour hand sits just before the 1 or the 2.
