Sky Clock
Drag the hands and watch the sky change. The clock reads the time back in numbers and in words, and sets you a time to make.
Objective: Reading and setting o'clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to on an analog clock, and connecting the time to the part of the day
How to use it
- Drag the red hour hand or the blue minute hand. Each hand can also be focused with the keyboard and moved with the arrow keys.
- Press Spin the hands to whirl both hands like a prize wheel. Where they land is the time to read. The challenge level sets what it can land on.
- Press Run clockwise and slide the speed to watch a whole day go past, sun and moon included.
- Turn on Minute numbers to show 5, 10, 15 around the outside while students are learning to count the minutes.
- The challenge at the bottom asks for a time. Start on the hour, then move up through half hours, five minutes and any minute.
